I have learned everything in my site from reading many books written by scientists and others. Please see my Recommended Reading page for a partial list of these books.
The great majority of the books on this list make extensive use of excerpts from published articles in peer reviewed science journals and other publications by scientists who support evolution. These excerpts show me that there isn't really the solid case against creation by God as we are led to believe.
I learned from these books that DNA and the cell are much too complicated to be the result of chance and there is not sufficient evidence that supports the theory that all other life gradually developed from the cell by the process of evolution.
All of these books have a link to the amazon.com website so you can read the reviews and comments of others if you wish.
Although most of the books on my list are by Christians, these are not books that say "the Bible says it so it must be true". I came to believe in God because of the strong scientific case for His existence made in these books.
Contrary to what you might have heard, creationists can be scientists. Some people like to say that creationists do not publish in peer reviewed science journals and so they are not a "real" scientist. In fact, many scientists who believe in creation have published in peer reviewed science journals and on a wide variety of topics. Below, I have links to the members of one creation organization. Many scientists are on this list, but not everybody on the list is a scientists. Some are medical doctors, for instance. In the links below, published work is listed in each biography in this link "For detailed information on his accomplishments, etc., click here".
The purpose of this site is to tell why I believe in God. Every topic on this site has links at the bottom of the page to online articles by scientists and others who believe that the scientific evidence supports creation by God.
Many people believe that life came from non-life without God's help. There is no proof for this and I want people to be aware of that. I don't want any more people to reject God, as I did, because of misinformation.
If you do not believe that God created life then you must believe that DNA and the cell are the result of chance. No one would believe that Windows XP is the result of chance, but an atheist must believe that the human brain which created Windows XP is the result of chance.
This site will hopefully show that DNA and the cell are much too complicated to be the result of chance and thus were created by God.
This site will also show that there is not sufficient evidence that supports the theory that all other life gradually developed from the cell by the process of evolution. Because the evidence for evolution does not exist, this shows that life was created by God.
Some already believe in God and believe in a theory called theistic evolution. This theory states that God has directed evolution. This was originally developed as a compromise by the church because evolution was believed to be a fact. This site will show that it is unnecessary to believe that God directed evolution because the evidence for evolution does not exist. This site will show that God created all forms of life on earth in the same basic types we see now.
I was firmly committed to the theories of abiogenesis and evolution for almost 50 years. I love to watch nature shows on PBS which is also committed to these theories as shown by how often it is mentioned. However, they often admit how much is unknown. I saw a recent show on birds. One segment was about birds traveling thousands of miles to a place they have never been. And then they say they don't know how the birds navigate. Yes, in their philosophy, it is not known, because they are automatically excluding the obvious choice.
God programmed the animals with amazing abilities that demonstrate his existence.
"If it's in the Bible, it is not true" is a very common belief, but, it is a very lame basic for science.
Please feel free to contact me with any questions you may have about God. If you have seen me posting on message boards, you are invited to send me private messages. I enjoy telling people why I believe in God!
Sincerely,
X
